Since Huggy Bear is apparently specifically calling out DBP and saying he’d defend a gay man accused of sexual assault, I have to ask: Hey, DBP, whatcha think about my Kevin Spacey post earlier in this thread? Anything you’d add to that? Anything you'd contest about the facts of that case, while Huggy Bear's still latching onto the idea of gay men accused of historical assault getting a free ride from atheists?

Not really, I stated that if Cosby was a gay man, DBP would be defending him. As you can see, I wasn't wrong.

But he's not gay so the fact that you again, try to spin something out of the air that has NOTHING to do with the PD of this thread, is just incredible. 

First - you get your panties in a twist because the victim won and you felt he didn't get a fair trial due to the fact that you didn't like the evidence that was presented.

Then you try, as usual, to play the race card.

There was zero evidence presented as it relates to the Constand case, you guys have yet to name one example.

When that didn't work, you took a totally unrelated an rather irrelevant post of DBP's that you decided to quote mine out of context, that had fuck all to do with Cosby or any of his accusers, and attempted to spin it into this thread. I'm not even going to address what you quote mined of mine. We all know you'll just keep on getting away with it. Whatever. The point is that several of us wasted many pages calling you out and telling you how off the mark you are with bringing up an example that had nothing to do with Cosby and wasn't even in the same realm of reality as Cosby's trial. 

Technically - you should have received at the least, a temporary ban for doing that since it's against the rules to take posts out of context and you've done it a few times before, but oh well. You get to stay and play on the playground for whatever reasons. And no - that's not a dig at staff. It's just frustrating to see you skirt the rules so well that your quote mining is constantly subject to opinion-based decisions and not based on the fact that yes, you do in fact, break the quote mining rule here. You've become a professional at pissing people off while staying right under the line. Bravo!

@Huggy: DBP's thread that you screenshotted was about something that had NO relevance to Cosby. It's like comparing apples to oranges. So it had NO business being brought here, hence this is what you took out of context.

As for the evidence you keep wanting to see? Go speak with Cosby's attorneys. Go find transcripts of the entire trial. Go find the list of exhibits. His own statements of admitting to give Constand "three friends" to "help her relax" while he penetrated her with an object, alone are part of the evidence that you are ignoring.

Joods, come on. You know this is like saying, "You're not doing your job . . . no offense." Just because you don't want people to take it personally doesn't mean you didn't make a comment directed at the way we staff the forums. If you've got a real problem with it, start a thread in the staff section. You've made more than one passive-aggressive remark about it. We're all friends, so just come out and tell us what you think and we'll tell you why we've made the decisions we've made, if it's appropriate and protects people's privacy.

In this case, I can tell you that people wildly misinterpret the "out of context" part of that rule. When Huggy is reported, he is very rarely taking something out of context. He's just taking his own meaning from whatever people have posted. Does he annoyingly stock up posts like it's his job? Maybe. Has he broken any rules that have been reported? Not to my knowledge. We try really hard to make controversial rules absolutely clear. For some reason, everyone has their own version of what they mean. We can't help that.

Edited to add: I want to be careful not to come across as having a problem with you having concerns or things you don't think are handled well. I just want to point you in the right direction for dealing with it.
