Your all-time favorite hallucination?

RE: Your all-time favorite hallucination?
Got caught in a lysergic loop one time. I watched Croagh Patrick turn into birds, fly up and then re-settle into the mountain. Over and over and over. It was beautiful.

I was tripping when I read "The Battle of MacArthur" in The Mote In God's Eye, back in the '70s. Brownies destroy a battlecruiser! I had to read that chapter again the next day.  Levitate

I remember mention somewhere of a stoner sitting in front of a TV, watching the news, and thinking "Man! What an imagination I've got!"

An impressively ugly mountain in County Mayo that is a magnet for religious lunatics.

I had Etna turn into Ringworld once. That was very cool.

I've only hallucinated once. It was scary, disturbing and shook me to the core.

I got this idea into my head that Donald Trump was president.

The first college I went to was in a hick town, pop 4000. We all dropped cid and decided to go for a road trip. Some how along the way we decided that all the rural locals were witches and needed to be driven off. I think the first assault was with Alice Cooper as we drove up their farmhouse roads. Then eventually shit started flying out of the car (beer bottles, 8 tracks, floor covers,..........). When the paranoia set in we drove to a stock pond an out onto the ice where we spent the rest of the night. None of us could figure out that we could put it into reverse to get enough traction to get off the ice (fuckin rear wheel drive) until out heads cleared.

Dude, you need to get better suppliers. I've taken LSD so potent that (well before I peaked) I doubted that real was real.

As an aside, one time when I was tripping, I looked up through a tree and saw fractal geometry. And (wouldn't ya know it) tree branches DO form fractals.

I don't know exactly what to make of this. My working theory at the time was that LSD shows us stuff that our brain normally filters out. Are there any Tim Leary types on the forum that can answer this?
