The book is about the antifa movement.  It is a growing area of concern.  It is aligned against the administrations policies, allies, apparatus, and figureheads.

Since I haven't encountered such a hypothetical tweet from Trump, the best I can do is look to how I've behaved in similar situations. If Trump stated something like what Ellison did, and I actually bothered to read it (something I'm not sure whether Roadie has actually done), I probably would want to know what he says following the tweet rather than simply jumping to conclusions that I find comforting. Again, YMMV. Imagining the situation, I'd probably shrug it off as a stupid miscalculation rather than saying something deeper about Trump. So, once again, you're wrong. But thanks once again for avoiding the point to focus on a triviality.

If by "the same conclusion" you mean they might conclude Ellison isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, you're probably right. If by the same conclusion you mean that Ellison supports violent extremists, I'm not so sure about that. Maybe, maybe not. It would be somewhat of a moot point if they draw the first conclusion.

Sure...but without the "reasonably" part.  If/that "moderates" might draw the same conclusion has more to do with what you howler monkeys are babbling about at any given moment. Nothing will change the fact that no one in this fever dream supports antifa.  Not ellison, not the dem establishment, not the liberal establishment (which includes your silly ass)......not even the author, who at least contends that he's an ideological ally.
