I've been told that you can kill an oak tree by driving a copper nail into it. Is this true?

No I use "Just for Trees" to keep the gray away.

Yes, much like killing a vampire with a wooden stake. Watch out, we tend to explode violently upon doing so tough. Mel Brookes "Dracula dead and loving it" style.
