Four officers received various injuries. Trained officers and still we have ~14 KIA/WIA. Would more guns have helped?

These morons on the right will take the smallest sample where a user does successfully stop someone with a firearm, but the data is in, even with a firearm i the home. It is still far more likely that use of a firearm in a conflict with someone armed is far more likely to get yourself hurt. It is far more likely you will commit suicide, or accidentally kill yourself, or someone in your home will hurt themselves or you with it. And the other bullshit the NRA never tells users is that their is a huge difference between stress training shooting, that isn't a one day course, but any cop or military will tell you that it is a CONSTANT monthly or even weekly upkeep in muscle memory training firing under stress.
I'm stuck on how the Curious Orange could describe this as being "a shame." Misplacing a £5 scratchcard - that's a shame. 8 dead a shame? Really?!

And Trump perpetuating needing more guns to solve the problem, don't think that's a coincidence. I'm certain the NRA is paying him handsomely.
It's terrible, but there is a silver lining. The bombings and shootings have deflated the appeal of Trump's bogus midterm issues.
When we're already talking about silver linings in terrorism toward Jews it was actually on this day in 1965 that the Second Vatican Council voted to absolve Jews of responsibility for the death of Jesus, a responsibility placed upon them for 760 years.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
I'm dead sure the shooter was a Muslim.
