I grew up in NI.  It is open season on intolerant cuntflakes irrespective of geographic location.

Untwist 'em, luv - none of that is remotely what I said or implied.  The only 'subtext' you could reasonably glean from my post is that I'm unsurprised by reports of intolerance in Northern Ireland.

And, appropos of nothing, yes - my best mate does happen to be black.

Can you think of a country where you would be surprised by reports of intolerance? If not, do you reply to every thread detailing acts of intolerant fuckwittery with eg: "Intolerant fuckwits in Fiji, big fucking surprise." ?

I might very well be surprised by reports of intollerant [sic] fuckwits in Figi [sic], as I've never heard of any there before.

And no, I don't respond to all threads about intolerance in that manner.  Some I don't respond to at all.  The difference between NI and other places (in this regard) is that I've lived and worked in NI, and I've seen sufficient intolerance there firsthand so that it doesn't surprise me when I hear about it (it does sadden me, though).

If that's true (which I sincerely doubt) then you really need to "get out more." Every country in this day and age has its share of intolerance, xenophobia, racism, religious bigotry etc. 

By calling for Fiji to be officially declared a Christian state, Mr Waqairatu has shown himself to be misguided, intolerant and a threat to race relations and good governance in Fiji.
