I was just keeping things straight. Seems the internet short attention span folks think "all we have to do is impeach him!" and he'll be gone. Doesn't work that way.

Anybody remember when a Senator was impeached, tried, found guilty and removed from his office?

While true it will at least expose the truth and kill any attempt at him pretending he's on the up and up .

It only happened once, in like 1795 or something.  As  I recall the senate told the house to go fuck itself and then removed the guy from the senate on their own accord.

On the other hand, I think it was Virginia who recently impeached their entire supreme court.
