Do you and yours wear thermal under clothes when the weather gets cold?

The thing with thermals is that they're next to your skin, and designed to retain bodily warmth, like wooly hats, not primarily to look good like most clothes Val, and I'm glad you keep your cats snug and warm with a little heater.

They sit over underwear, and below normal clothes, therefore underclothes.

Oh.  I don't do underwear that often, and it rarely gets cold enough here to justify going thermal.

Something about Mormons and underwear...ain't many Mormons around here. Nor Sikhs. Going without underwear is called "going Commando" in England. Going without heating one's whole house unnecessarily is just plain decent.

You and urs can wear T-shirt and shorts in the winter because you crank the thermostat up and you wear thermals? That doesn't parse...

19C is thermostat up? OK then. Thermals are for outside where we spend a fair bit of time with the dogs.

I don't even know what thermals are.

*Googles "Thermals"*

Oh, okay. No, I've never worn those, but there was this one time when I was in a cold climate and those would have been very appreciated.

I just want to know if they sell them in Primark or not. Wooly tracksuit bottoms (joggers) are OK but I've only got a proper thermal vest ATM.

The wife and I've got a set that are silk.
