Mostly the former, although it started with one instance of the latter. To be fair, that person had their real name as their handle on here for years until they apparently suffered IRL harassment/threats. So, it's something of an open secret with most forum members agreeing not to revert back to referring to them by any real identifying info. But, it's not a hard rule or anything.
