He has trouble beating out Dumbfuck. All the current trouble in the middle east? Directly attributable to Shrub's idiotic decision not to pile in on the Saudis, the real architects of the 11/9 attacks (with significant help from daddy's friends in the CIA). Plus he's also had more failed companies than Dumbfuck, and has been proven to indulge in insider trading.

Implementation of policy is never perfect, but that cannot impugn the policy itself.

Yes.It.Can.

RE: President Bush The Smarter Has Passed Away
I voted for Bush Sr, but admittedly back then I fell for family tribalism, in that my mom voted for him. I also thought I was simply voting for the best person and was falsely shallow basing most of that on visual handling of himself on camera and not really into actual policy. I know better now.

But regardless of his party, he WAS a patriot, he fought in WW2, and that is something I know I couldn't have done myself. But when he did that, he wasn't doing it for a political party and understood the gravity of the cost of war. He carried himself with dignity and outside of economic differences did make a concerted effort to work with the other party.

He lost re-election many speculate for saying "no new taxes" only to raise them. But I see that as much the same as what McCain did in sticking up for Obama regardless of the cost.

Even today, I still stand by the first Gulf war, because it was not manufactured, our allies supported it, but most importantly we were invited by Kuwait to help them. I still suspect to this day that Sr regretted not finishing the job back then. But that is armchair QB on my part admittedly.

One thing about our system that is completely lost today by too many, is that the peaceful transfer of power is not a 180 degree flip every time the WH switches party. In reality, the idea was that no matter who won, that it is more like a baton being passed, and the new power drew information from the prior president but while tweaking it to a view to that new leaning, would not completely scrap everything the last president did.

Unlike today's GOP, and the current orange turd, Both Reagan and Sr did not see dems as enemies, but merely Americans they disagreed with on policy. Sr had lots of admiration for Bill, and even Jr sat next to Michelle at Barbra's funeral.

I may be a democrat, and while I don't share his economic views, I most certainly would support Bush Sr being buried in Arlington National Cemetery if that were what he would want. And he deserves his own library too.

Sr did try to claim that his son wasn't trying to compete with his dad in Jr's presidency. But lets face it, when you are talking about male dynamics it is very typical for a child to try to prove themselves to a parent.

I will say this, it must be pissing off the orange turd that Obama is paying complements to Sr.

I disagree. I think he promised ‘no nude Texans’ and people misunderstood.  Shame - no nude Texans strikes me as a very good idea.

I am sure there are nudist resorts in Texas. Maybe that is why he lost he lost the votes of nudists.  Hilarious

Just saw a clip of Bush Sr after leaving the office saying, " I made some mistakes'.

Guess which asshole wont ever do that?

There are now only 5 Living Presidents.

Jimmy Carter 94 years old
Bill Clinton 72 years old
George W Bush 72 years old
Barack Obama 57 years old
Vladimir Putin 66 years old
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
