Hey idiot, if you knew the reasons why the USSR collapsed you'd be looking very bleakly at the United States' future.

What Ronnie Ray-Gun did in the 80s was only peripheral to the collapse of the USSR. That country collapsed because 1) the government had become an ossified oligarchy out to benefit a tiny minority (are Dumbfuck and the republitraitor party mirroring this? Yes they are), 2) a government budget way too skewed to weapons and armaments depriving other more useful areas of funding (is the US's c16% of the budget way too high? Boy howdy and then some, 2% would be an overspend), 3) a faltering economy which is hemorrhaging useful jobs and only offering low pay and low skill jobs to the majority (yes, there's a reason the current epidemic of zero-hour below minimum wage jobs are called McJobs, because US companies like MaccyD's invented them and made them the norm), 4) are there signs of endemic and ever increasing corruption at all levels of government (take your pick, from the pallets of money going missing when passing through the green zone in Iraq to Dumbfuck trying to bribe Putain with $50m of somebody else's condo {not yet built} for help with the 2016 election) and finally is the country engaged in fruitless and ever more bizzare wars, draining its manpower and materiel strength at arms (for the USSR there was one, for the US there is currently two and if Dumbfuck had his way a third one in Iran).

The five conditions of collapse only contain one item, the last, for the USSR for which the US could even claim partial credit, because the USSR went into Afghanistan as a result of US trained, equipped and paid foreign muhajideen coming largely from the Gulf states and a minority from North Africa. The irony of the US's "victory" over the USSR in Afghanistan? These fighters became al-Qaeda and were paid CIA assets almost to the day they flew their planes into the twin towers.
