What's your phobia?

RE: What's your phobia?
Well then I don't have any phobias and very few fears that even register on my emotional meter. To those of you struggling with them, I wish encouragement and wish I could help in some way, but that is highly unlikely. I did help my wife and daughter overcome their debilitating phobia of heights. Now it's just a less reasonable fear and not debilitating. I should take them to that LCD glass bridge in China
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

There's a certain sound the wind makes sometimes, howling high in the trees, that makes my blood run ice-cold. Whenever I hear that sound I try to get inside as fast as humanly possible.

Aside from social phobia, nothing I can think of. Lots of things can scare me, I'm sure, but not to the point of phobia.

In addition to horses, I'm terrified of carpooling.  I'm always afraid that the car will break down in a tunnel somewhere and the other passengers will leave me to die.  I talked to a doctor about this and he said I have carpool tunnel syndrome.

I love big dogs I hate little dogs. But that really isn't a phobia, I just find smaller dogs obnoxious and I usually want to kick them. But one of my greatest phobia's is scorpions. I see those little fuckers around my house all the time.
Better there than here where all my stuff is

'Courage is the complement of fear; the man who is fearless cannot be courageous.  He is also a fool.' - Heinlein or Clausewitz, I'm not sure which.
