Your next car

RE: Your next car
Fresh fish, produce, and cut flowers.  The wife wants to get out of manufacturing and maybe start a catering/florist business..which is what she did with her bro long before she met me.  I want to increase my range so that I can justify the purchase of 5 new greenhouses.

That and my bro recently moved back down to florida - so there's the opportunity of setting up a side hustle in fresh saltwater fish (and crabs and scallops and shrimp..blah blah blah). Horrendously lucrative here in landlocked Kentucky.

I used to have a big nissan box with a unit on it, but I didn't need it for what I was doing so I sold it.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. if your serious pm me and I can save you a ton on any refrigerated trucks, we build them for reelz and can ship anywhere have 4 used in stock and 3 more new being built/can build to order any thing you like in any configuration meaning temps and shelving, standby no standby, and we are only one of two companies in the country that can freeze negative temps in the blazing heat of summer without over sizing the unit 4 to 5 times and using 6" of insulation. or we can build to fit a budget financing available through Hitachi credit

even if you don't buy from me DO NOT BUY A SPRAY IN FOAM BOX/VAN will be garbage in 3 years. have pics and videos where people bring them to us to be rebuilt all the time.

fav example we were at a Mercedes benz sprinter show in their factory facility in NC or SC and they had in a tent outside all of the major refrigeration guys maybe 10 or 15 different companies from all over the US. this was our first big show and no one knew who we were, so we didn't get a spot in the tent with everyone else out of the direct sun... everyone in the tent had their vans reved up to like 2200 ro 3000 RPM (highway engine speeds) to simulate max capasity of their refrigeration system. Everyone used one of two systems/the largst the either one of those companies made. and they were all struggling to get to and maintain 35*F which is most of where the market is. some of the "deep freezers" got into the 20's.

While we were putting along at idle speed outside with our mid range (not the biggest/but right size for this application) we at an idle (70% of our total capacity) where at -4*F in the sun empty box on a sprinter 3500HD high top extended and we where opening the doors up quite a lot so people in the 99F heat could feel the cold blast and see the fog roll out the back door.

The head guy from the biggest refrigeration company uppfitter came to us out side and said he heard we had jimmied our temp read out to read Celsius while everyone else was competing in Fahrenheit which still made us the best performer @25*F if we were cheating with -4*C. he said he was going to the sprinter higher ups and was asking them to have us removed.

I said.. and if we are 4- F*??? what then? will you make an equally big presentation declaring our unit and insultion being far superior to anything else here?? while put him in a terrible huff, he said I'm getting a temp gun (which are terribly inaccurate and can be changed/calibrated to read hot or cold. So he and a small crowd gathered around the back door I opened it and this thick layer of below zero fog hit him in the face and took his breath he coughed and placed his sweaty hand on the floor where it instantly froze to the diamond plate. he peeled his hand off our demo and said close the door I've seen enough. didn't say another word to me or anyone else but with in 5 to 10 mins all the other trucks in the tent shut off for the rest of the show! then they opened everything up and it was a show about fitment and finish. The old man even said that we were hiding our product behind closed doors.

Word got back to the main guy at mercedes (walther) shook our hands told us we had done the best job he's ever seen and made us a certified Mercedes Benz Sprinter up fitter. Since then we have been certified with gm ford ram and nissan

As are going through Brexit, something armoured and solar powered would be my vehicle of choice.

it is porous and wixs/sops up moisture which turns to black mold. plus the liner when it gets wet behind it separates from the wall. creates grandma underarm floppy skin which sometimes fills with black mold water. mold in the wall = mold taste/spores in the food product.

We build our boxes like a cross between semi trailers/rugged durable liners and shipping purposed materials used and nasa space station/new age insulation and heat shields.

My 300d was a 77 Florida car with 62,000 miles - and low compression. It sat for years ,- then th new owner drove it to michigan. It ate the cylinder liners. I bought another car that was rusted out, and transplanted the engine. Awesome, inexpensive ride. ( seeing I had a parts car)

Identical to this one..

RE: Your next car
honestly guys the technology is not there yet in this gen of electric or hybrids. While tesla has the battery and motor/drivers down they are at best a very poor manufacturer, and have a long way to go to make a safe cheaper relibable car while someone like gm can make an awesome chasis but does not have the power train to power such a vechicle. such is true with all manufacturers. I worked with electric truck/commercial for some years and can tell you not this gen but maybe next gen is when you want ot buy maybe post 2020. as it will be at least that long till the car manufacturers will catch up to where tesla was a few years back. meaning get a car like the have sold a year or two ago for 1/2 the money.

what tesla is working on now is amazing and they are committed to become more like ford or chevy in production which means same cost to you but higher profits for them.

the biggest issue is fuel/infrastructure and car support. meaning if tesla is the only one who can work on tesla the 175.00 an hour is not an unreasonable rate.. not to mention long wait times for service.

Daytripping trucks are going to be the first huge success for electric vehicles, imo.  You know where they start and stop every night, they have consistent downtimes, you know the regular distance between the points..and their operational costs can be reduced much more significantly than private vehicles can be by a switch to electric.

That's why teslas trying to get their trucks out there ahead of it.
