But back to the point, I don't think the resurrection described here fits the term 'zombie'.  I've always imagined them more like mummies.

is this another disguised prebann warning? or can I call you a dumb ass who's over looking the very greek word that describe the resurrected define or rather describe the condition of the people being brought back Ie he doesn't have to describe anything as his literal vocabulary, the same method you douche bags are using to move the goal posts to zombiehood..

No, you can call me whatever you like - I'm a big lad, I can take it.  My point was that Jesus wasn't describing anything in the passage referenced - the dead came out of the graves just when Jesus 'gave up the ghost'.  Jesus isn't speaking in the passage, so he couldn't possibly have been describing anything.

Also, I'm opting for 'mummies' over 'zombies' strictly on the basis of the bodies having been wrapped.

Mummies are usually not so wet and squishy inside.

Fair point.  'Zummies'?  'Mombies'?

For whom, lol? I thought it was delightfully fun to see you nerd out like a lotr fan about some zombies in magic book.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

the word that settles the argument is the translated word "RESURRECTED"
what does that mean???

res·ur·rect
Dictionary result for resurrect

/ˌrezəˈrekt/
verb
past tense: resurrected; past participle: resurrected

  1. restore (a dead person) to life.
"he was dead, but he was resurrected"
    synonyms:
raise from the dead, restore to life, bring back to life, revive

"on the third day Jesus was resurrected"
To restore to revive to bring back to life.. or more specifically restore a dead person BACK TO LIFE, not place them in a state of living dead. What dumb ass will argue zombies as described in the op are not a form of living dead? He where Jesus reserrects it is back to life not to living death.

Why is this so hard to fathom for you we do this now via cpr and modern medicine where a clinically dead person can be revived from being clinically dead does it make them a zombie? Only if you are a dumb ass who is trying to force a meaning onto this word just to make Christians look bad. no we bring them back to life so to this is what is being described by the bible when Jesus called the dead back to life.

how so?

-Or maybe you just don't understand what bible based Christianity is all about. maybe me explaining 1000 times over 1/2 a decade here and showing you example after example of how harsh Christ was to his opponents and even harder towards his disciples. maybe you are looking for the type of christian who you celebrate is dying out in favor of people like me. people you do not understand from a form of christianity you know nothing about.

Maybe what conflicts is your broken idea of God and how God is and works through me!
