Saudi Arabia: the King has Alzehimer; forgetting words in front of camera

RE: Saudi Arabia: the King has Alzehimer; forgetting words in front of camera
A despot is a despot no matter what he believes in, or doesn't.  A country in which despotism doesn't require or include the invocation of divine authority isn't an improvement on a despot, it's an improvement in conditions for religious and irreligious people under despotism.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. We are not speaking about him being a "despot"; we are speaking about him and his father being unfit mentally for the roles of kings and crown princes.

The father has Alzheimer, and the son is a psychopath with an obsessive-compulsive personality. MBS is not serving a higher goal or following "an anti-religious" super plan; he is just plain mad, insane psychopath. And soon enough he will cause disasters to both the anti-religious and the religious alike.

We are speaking about obsoleting this maniac before he causes the disaster of the century.

From memory, the Christian church has also gotten along spiffingly with many dictators.------ the dominant religion usually sides with the status quo.

Goes back a very long way in history: "to the common people, the gods are real, to the wise man, nonsense, to the ruler, useful" . (Not sure from whom, possibly Epicurus)

The psycho in charge in Saudi Arabia may be assassinated by his own if they feel threatened enough. The CIA will help if the US thinks its interests are being threatened. (as they did in Chile with Salvador Allende)

We™ are talking about alot of nutter shit.  I... otoh, am only talking about whatever meager improvement can be noticed or effected is "allah" isn't believed to sign off on every beheading, lol.

Personally, being a dyed in the wool westerner, I have doubts that -anyone- is fit to be a king or a prince..regardless of their state of mind, but so long as monarchies are a thing it's best to understand that the criteria for a competent prince doesn't have to include being a decent human being and not bone sawing people to death. It can be an issue of locking your extended family in the ritz carlton and extracting their wealth and loyalty oaths. MBS buttoned that shit right up. It can be an issue of implicating global powers in embarrassing schemes as leverage. Check. We could go on and on with all sorts of horrible shit that make a person "fit for the role".

Then, America and the west should remove any support (including military and non-military support alike) from MBS and the Saudi regime + enforce sanctions on their regime. If the Saudi regime is gone, better people will come. Unless you are a racist who generalize evil and ignorance on all Arabs.

It can't get easier than this: Saudi money is not in China or Russia; it's in the USA and Europe.

The west has full control over this regime; but it is letting it do what it wants. But soon enough this maniac -MBS- will make the west wake up to a new 9/11, and this time it will be way way bigger. Because he got more money, his mind is more damaged than any previous ruler.

Why are you insisting on turning this into a political matter, while the truth is that MBS is mentally damaged and unfit for any sensitive role like leading a country on the political scene?

He is mentally handicapped. You never give guns to a mentally damaged person unless you want him to cause a disaster.

And he will.

You want the US to engage in a little middle eastern regime change?   IDK, recent experience suggests that "better people" coming are not a given, and that starving the populace through sanctions will not engender us to the natives.

If it's just a "little change", then America shouldn't be so sensitive about the stability in the Middle East, or it shouldn't waste its treasury on the region at all.

Let's not lie to our readers or assume they are stupid or ignorant. Without the Middle East's resources, the U.S dollar wouldn't have even became a world currency.

America is not just leaching on the resources of the Middle East, it is counting on it for its survival.

We always think it's going to be little..but...then we get there and you're a giant pain in the ass about everything.  Wink

I'm personally fascinated by the notion of you suggesting that american regime change in the middle east is what we ought to do, perhaps even more fascinated given the fact that, if we did try it, we would only attempt install a leader even more aligned with our own interests.  That' part of why the middle east is in the situation it's in today, wouldn't you agree?

IDK why you think that the US wouldn't have become a world power without the middle east, or that our currency wouldn;t have gone global.  That happened because we were the last men standing, as it were, in sepember of 1945.  A world war had just played out in everyone else's yard. That's what allowed us to form a new world order with ourselves at the top. This is what got us into the regime change business all through the cold war and to this day. Apparently, we're the global police...and, to continue with that thought, if you're dialing 911 to get some good ole murrica! to regime change mbs to death, prepare for long hold times and make sure you hide your bong before the officers arrive.
