Oh I definitely agree there. A few intense and ultimately futile debates with my friend left me comfortable with that conclusion long ago. I realized that no matter what I said to him, he stuck to his guns and would just change the subject or say, "I'll look more into that and get back to you." I'd like to think that something I said somehow got through to him, but it's unlikely. I think it was just up to him sitting with his thoughts are mulling things over.
