Should Flat-Earthers be debated or ignored?

Should Flat-Earthers be debated or ignored?
There is a school of thought that says we should engage with Flat-Earthers in order to bring these conversations out into the open and not push FEers to the "fringes" of society, so to sepak.

There is another idea that these people are holding fixed beliefs that will never change in the fact of evidence or reason.

After having very few, but intense, interactions ith flat-earthers, I've ultimately decided that these conversations are not worth having. I think that some people are prone to conspiracy and will shout conspiracy no matter what happens, where it happens or who is involved. I think having some sort of ominous group to blame for the bad things that happen in the world gives some people a strange sense of comfort.

What do you guys think and why?

The only benefit to having such public debates with such people is to convince fence-sitters. I personally won't because I have a low tolerance threshold for willful idiocy (and Poes).

It is good to debunk their arguments seperately from.them. Direct, one one one debate is futile. If they have adopted that stance in the 21st century, they are beyond hope.

Flat earthers should be encouraged to keep walking and don’t stop until they find the edge of the earth. They can be encouraged with the promise that we will wait with bated breath and large rewards for pictures.

Anyone who can still sit on the fence on this issue can fall off the edge of the flat earth.

Flat Earth is not a thing of debate but education. If they don't want to be educated then who am I to make them. People sometimes have to be responsible for their own actions.

You know how the saying goes, and this is something that dr. Brian Cox also likes to say: "People don't have a right to have an opinion. They only have a right to an informed opinion."
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

So you think if thye're pushed to the fringes of society that it is essentially their fault because they're mis/uninformed?

If not, please clarify.

Who else is there to blame? Considering we live in an informational age where knowledge is at anyone's fingertips and they refuse to tackle it. It's like if we were living in a world which streets were filled with gold coins and there were still poor people because they refuse to pick up any gold.
