I know someone who has done it both ways, she said that her C-section felt strange but not particularly painful at the time, but as you say the recovery took a lot longer than the natural birth. The natural birth on the other hand she said was horrendous at the time, the baby got stuck and they used something like a sink plunger to pull him out.

Unfortunately I am familiar with that particular medical procedure.  sigh

And I wasn't around to tell you now to get to the TV from your chair.  Hehe

You are an asshole! Hilarious

You really did help, more than you think. I suffer from depression and anxiety, just the fact I was able to call you, that was everything to me. I really did not know the road conditions, and if something had been fucked up, you had the means to guide me around it, even though it turned out everything was clear. My cell phone was a cheap burner flip phone, with no practical internet access. If the roads on the way home had been blocked, I would have been fucked.

This one time, there was this guy who kept posting fucking Abba videos all over this site I used to like. I know losing fingers or getting blown up or having a hole drilled in your foot hurts, but. . . I mean, it's Abba!

I was told at one point that the procedure was called a high forceps birth.  Now it's a C-section.

Sorry to hear about the birth injury.  That sucks.  I didn't think they did those any more.

I think it was called a Ventouse delivery. We are going back a few years, I don't know if they still use that method.

Kaiser Wilhelm II had his arm damaged at birth, probably through the same procedure. It was noticeably shorter than the other.
