Deal alert -- just bought The God Delusion for $3.73
Just bought it on Audible; it was priced at just under $20 and was on my Wish List.  Not sure if the deal was targeted just for me or not, but it's worth checking it out.  Read by Dawkins himself, unabridged.

Well, I've already got it in hardcover. And the funny thing about former bestsellers, especially ones that are polarising, and may not have held up the best, you can easily find cheap copies online, from booksellers like Alibris or Abebooks. Looking on Alibris, I found a hardcover copy in "very good condition" for $1.73 (plus $3.99 shipping and handling). Another on Abebooks in similar condition cost $4.05 with free shipping. If you're looking for books for cheap, well, try your luck there. Just remember to scrutinise the descriptions and make sure you're getting what you want. And hope they're actually telling the truth in those descriptions, which they usually are, but you never know.

I love the Audible books, as I am now traveling quite a bit as part of my self-employment.

It's a good read, and what an awesome deal! It doesn't really provide any ground-breaking insights for people who have been atheists for a significant amount of time but there's definitely a few good ideas that get hashed out in great detail, which I appreciated. I'm actually reading it right now for the second or third time - usually a sign that a book is pretty decent. Enjoy!

It's also available on YouTube

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Best book bargains: library fund-raising sales. Hardcovers usually priced $1-4; paperbacks about half that.
Of books that made a big splash when they came out, there is usually a glut of donations about two years later. That's how long people hang on to unwelcome gifts. These are in mint condition; hardly opened.
They come around again five years later, when serious readers get rid of topical books they bought for themselves and read. Now they're running out of shelf-space and know they won't read that one again.
