Can anyone help me unhinge the last 1% so that I’m not afraid of heaven and hell anymore? It would mean the world to me. I’d like to not have this hang over me for the rest of my life.

Stop trolling  and don't be a bad person and you'll be fine. Fine example of godly sympathy.
If that is what your god represents it deserves to die a horrible death.

While you were still a believing Christian, how much did you fear the hells if all the religions that you did not believe in?
I mean, the descriptions in the Koran of Jahannam are much worse than the descriptions of the Christian hell in the Bible.
Why are you not fearing Jahannam?
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

God isn't a sadistic monster that torture live being for eternity. That's not a God, that's a Monster made to scare people in to submission. Nobody will torture you forever.

Are you saying people try to gain control of other people by claiming God will punish them otherwise when they don't?

Some people might say that temporary hell doesn't scare them and continue to inject drugs in to their body until soon death. But when eternal hell threat comes in to play, it helps a lot of people stop killing themselves. Although, very few people endure such belief in eternal hell.
