You heard Bill Barrs framing of a report you've never seen.  Whats amusing is that the way it's been worded...he won't actually have lied even if it turns out that scrotus did collude and did obstruct, which the president does in plain sight with regularity.

You're right, I'm biased.  I believe my own lying eyes when someone does something out in the open, lol.  Did the squatter in cheif obstruct justice? Repeatededly., Dumbass even admitted to it on camera. Does he collude with russians on a constant basis and is he swallowing his talking points from his real dad vladimir putin? That makes no sense. 

First off this was a summery, not the full thousands of pages report.

Secondly you can let it go if you wish, but there would be no reason for Mueller to sign off on the summery that said "not exonerated", which means Mueller was leaving the door open for congress and separate state investigations.

Honestly, it's not entirely clear that congress would impeach a president if they found a russian birth certificate, either.  They have the institution to maintain. Such is the irony of seeking justice from an unjust system.

I know that. But the reality is that DOJ statement is only a recommendation, not a constitutional law. It was put in place after Nixon, which says a lot about the GOP being bitter since he got caught. 

The GOP has power to maintain, lets not confuse that with the checks on power set forth in the constitution. I agree with you, but we are also not talking about politics as normal. 

This same GOP was ready to boot Clinton over a blowjob. Trump has done far worse simply based on his constant dangerous rhetoric on a daily basis.

Well, you and I will probably disagree on this being politics as usual, but that's okay.  What I've been stressing is that the contents of barrs letter are not the mueller report, and, additionally, that those contents aren't a lie.  It wasn't haphazardly worded so that when the next shoe falls he's immediately found to have lied in the document.

That;s not how that works, that would be politics -not- as usual.  

If five months from now the president is found to be a traitor who demonstrably colluded....the contents of that letter will still be true with respect to what they actually say. It's naive to imagine otherwise.

It is a very typical tactic even in advertisement.

Say you see an add on TV for a "discount" and you go to the store to buy it, but because you didn't have a purple squirrel in your wallet singing "Hello my baby, hello my darling, hello my ragtime gal", you didn't read the fine print so you don't get the discount. Still a huge difference between legal and moral, and Mueller was leaving the door open for the moral ethical aspect of the full report.

Ever see those "BUT WAIT, ACT NOW AND WE'LL DOUBLE YOUR OFFER, (Just pay separate processing fee.) Or, "Buy these testosterone supplements" when the fine print says it is a recurring monthly charge on your credit card if you don't write a physical cancellation. Trump and Barr know the fuck what they are doing in blurring that line. Mueller is the only real honest player in all this. I simply see him as having his hands tied. 

Think about it. 45 long before he took office, used courts to bully people, because he could easily drag out lawsuits knowing the people he ripped off were not in a fair fight. Only an immoral fuck would rip off university investors, then brag on national TV after the jury only made him pay a fraction of what he took. Legal? Maybe, ethical and moral, FUCK NO.

So if you want to argue that what Barr did was "legal" that still does not change that Mueller was leaving the door open on ethics.

It makes no sense to me if one spends years screaming "I am innocent" knowing that just on issues of pay offs his story changed. First it was, "I didn't pay anyone off", then Rudy comes along and says, "it was a retainer" , then goes on to say, " yea he did it, but so what, it was legal."

Then there are the lies about the meeting, the lies about the Moscow Tower, so it wasn't just about paying off porn stars or firing people.

When you are innocent, you simply don't lie about everything on a daily basis like Trump has. Your story does not change from day to day. As far as the Russia aspect of the full report, one could argue no crime was committed, but Trump's behavior regardless was like joking about a bomb at an airport. Even on that, Trump invited that scrutiny with his behavior. The obstruction aspect of the full report is still a separate subject and still part of the "not exonerated"  truth.
