Does forming an atheist community pose a risk to becoming a religion?

RE: Does forming an atheist community pose a risk to becoming a religion?
What is there to discuss in atheism though? Atheism is simply a lack of belief in God or any gods. There is no set of ideas or doctrines in atheism to discuss.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Yeah in some areas of the world atheists need to gather to talk how they will deal with religious people verbally and sometimes physically attacking them on the streets, being fired for not being religious and also how to defend themselves and their own children when the likes of Jehovah's witnesses, hare Krishna, mormons, Catholics, muslims come knocking on their doors and telling lies to their face; and/ or they grab them on the street to try to drag them into their temples and churches.
