I'm fantasizing that Charlie Kirk was just a practice run, a warm-up before going after Trump. A man can dream, right?
I'm still hoping for a Big Mac. Anyone who shoots the chump is going to entering a living hell, along with their family. If caught.

Yup, it has all the earmarks of a professional hit. Ideally, the shooter was paid enough to elude capture and live out his life on a tropical island, pounding rum drinks and native women.

My favorite dessert is watching the right justify their hatred by posting a bunch of misinformation on X.

Reading about the person who was asking Charlie Kirk a question at the moment he was shot, they note that he was forwarded to the front of the line due to his being left-wing. Ostensibly, doing so would garner a more dramatic encounter and enhance the enjoyability of the experience for those who support Charlie Kirk as well as those that oppose him. It strikes me that this form of confrontational free speech increases the odds of political violence. And that much like posts on X and other social media, it's intended to drive views and engagement. In a sense, it demonstrates that the spectacle is as much a part of the message as the political content of any dialogue itself. Do those people on the right not also bear some responsibility for engaging in what, predictably, can lead to violence?
