Nah, it’s crap. I’m sure she was a very nice woman, but she was in a lot of crap. See above.

I think the last seasons of Charlies Angels were the best. I think Julie brought the most depth and courage to that series as the character was written. There is only one other episode prior to her joining, that loved more, having been bullied growing up. And that was when Kelly uncovered a cop who was beating his son, and confronted him with it.
If you are going to stupidly accuse her of being nothing more than eye candy, that says alot about you.
I have no problem seeing women as both sexy, AND powerful.

I should have explained - it isn’t about any intrinsic quality present in either the vehicles or Ms. Roberts’ acting. I have adopted what I call the Brian37 Crap Standard. It works like this:
The more you, personally, like/admire/enjoy some aspect of pop culture, the more likely it is to be crap. I haven’t settled on a final scale, but it will probably involve BCUs (Brian Crap Units). For example, since you seem unable to belt up about ABBA for more than a handful of posts, ABBA would get a high BCU rating.
And since you’re defending The Beastmaster, A View To A Kill, Charlie’s Angels and That 70s Show, these are clearly crap.
I hope this clears it up for you.

addendum: I have not said ONE negative word about Tanya Roberts’ acting talents. Both of them were perky, firm and nicely shaped.

Yes, everything I like you find crap.
Got it.
This is not news to me.

Thank you
Just so you know, Tommy Lee Jones had a cameo minor character role in the Pilot Episode of the original Charlies Angels.

Okay...but, Tommy Lee's breasts are sub par.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Shan’t hold it against him. We’ve all done things we’re not proud of.

And? Neither is David Ogden Stiers, who also cameo'd on the pilot episode of Charlies Angels.
Or do you need a Winchester aimed at you in a MASH unit to understand Tanya's Death while the issue, I was simply adding to the life in acting she was a part of?
