Sure, I would rather be remembered as a bum than, let's say, a billionaire. But I am not worthy to be a bum because I am not charming (enough) for strangers to give me free food and shelter. If I were broke, I would die of starvation, unlike this guy who got a whole house in a nice part of SF to live in for free for years, along with free food, a computer, and other stuff. Being a bum means that you are nice and that people love you.

Mario Adorf, a German actor who also starred in Italian, French, British, and American movies. He was one of my favorites. He was in such classics as The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Billy Wilder's Fedora, Tin Drum, and my favorite, Lola (1981), where he plays the bad guy, but since he looks and seems like a jolly guy, his "evil" seems infinite.

My 600-lb Life star Dolly Martinez has died at just 30 years old. Do you think that her being 700 pounds had anything to do with her premature death?
