So the Bible is still being corrected. Jesus, who died for a weekend for our sins, apparently misunderstood who was doing the tempting. And it only took the Catholic Church 2000 years to figure it out. What else did the Bible get wrong?

But... But... Even the article you cited talks of translation. You could not possibly have misunderstood this. Could you?

How is this a correction if Christ constructs a prayer that addresses his temptation of sin?

Seems to me the pope does not know or understand the bible.

Seems to me this alteration in scripture is yet another example of this religion taking another step away from the God of the bible.

God of the bible??   You mean this 2000 years of copies, copies of copies, mistranslations, errors and just plain made up crap?

Yeah,  let us discard 2000 years of human discovering, reflection, exploration and scholarship, and make a jumbled up, fragmented, pirated, plagiarized, doodle book showing some sheep fucker’s nightmare the end all and be all of wisdom

poor zebo the dumb...

Makes a fool of himself because he does not understand that what he believes about the bible is a fake fact.

poor zebo the dumb has never researched or even done a google search on the history of the bible other wise he's know the bible was derived from a series of codices. Meaning hand written manuscripts..

Poor zebo the dumb and fat is entering a conversation where if he had looked any of this up he would see we have manuscripts that date back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries BEFORE Christ..

This would mean there are no copies of copies of copies. that poor zebo, is the fate of the Koran, and every other religion, but not Bible based Christianity.

educate yourself fool:

if 5:00 mins is too much of your time start at 3:50 seconds. that begins the summary.

Just think such a foundational fact from which you have built hate and disbelief in this eligion and it is not even true/does not even repersent how the core book is or was compiled.

Be honest and ask yourself what else do you believe about this religion that is not also a fake fact.

ok, then can you (besides using the bible) give me an example of a 2000 + year old text that has survived all of this time and competes with or contradicts what is in the bible?

Or do you really mean to say the last 100 to 200 years of human discovery, reflection, exploration, and scholarship?
