But wouldn't there be less deaths with a wall? At least no river deaths? Am I right? Explain your reasoning. I don't have time to do wikipedia.

So research = too time consuming, but shitposting on a forum is within your schedule.

Well I did research it and it wasn't a valid argument. You can't deny drownings would decrease, right? Or are you saying other ways to die would happen? Wouldn't a wall at least help some? Why not heh? Be honest! How come the wall in Israel has worked so well, it stopped 99% of it.
Can someone respond fast? I am about to go watch 13 Reasons Why, this is slowing down my day. Well here's what happened, he got to one side to drop off the kid, then went back for the mom. This is where it gets weird, the kid jumped back into the water and died. Now if Trump had his wall going across this wouldn't happen, it would save lives. Now I'm not a Trump supporter, I voted for Hillary, Obama, John Kerry, Al Gore and even wanted Dukakis to win. If you can counter this debate please try. Fuck off back to your own country then, immigrant.

They drowned while crossing the river because they tried to get across the bridges at Matamoros and were turned away. If things had been easier for them, they wouldn’t have felt the need to jump into the river. You make shit like this illegal (or damn near impossible to get legally), things that actually allow people to get a piece of the “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” pie that is our birthright (and bear in mind, many of these migrants are coming from places where they have none of those things, including those two El Salvadoran immigrants), you’re not going to get people to stop doing it, you’re going to get people to die trying to get that,

And on the specific subject of a wall going across the river, well, here’s a story about how well that could work:
https://qz.com/1353798/the-us-mexico-bor...us-floods/ TL;DR: border walls along the river are likely to actually increase deaths, and not just of migrants trying to get across, but of non-migrants who already live there and have to deal with the Rio Grande Valley’s floods. And bear in mind, there’s flooding going around the area AS WE SPEAK. And actual criminals are still likely to find ways around them.

Ok these are valid arguments.
