Divine Inspiration
RE: Divine Inspiration
I suspect what you're saying is you previewed your post and clicked back and it was all gone. This forums software is a fucking horror.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

I explained what hell is in the post you quoted me. Another post said how the sea is higher than the earth.
The hill is at a higher level than the valley as the river is higher than the sea.
Listen to the mountain stream.

I also said why I believe a donkey can talk.

It is said: Messenger of Allah, what about the asses? Upon this he said: Nothing has been revealed to me in regard to the asses in particular except this one verse of a comprehensive nature" he who does an atom's weight of good will see it and he who does an atom's weight of evil will see it". H12:28

Issachar is a strong ass couching between two burdens. Genesis 49:14

Well that's a whopper. Care to elaborate on that lie?

And not content with one honking great lie, you had to wheel out a bigger one.

Childish.

Not a lie. That's just my interpretation. I am likely to be wrong.

Listen to this:

Say. "The truth is from your Lord" Let him who will believe, and let him who will reject it: For the wrong-doers We have prepared a Fire whose smoke and flames, like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in: if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable couch to recline on! Q18:29

That verse does seem to make sense to me.
Because of this:

And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats. Ezekiel 34:17

Many are the jinns and men we have made for hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle, nay more misguided: for they are heedless of warning. 7:179

And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. Genesis 4:20
And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. Exodus 26:11

Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle; nay, they are worse astray in path. 25:44
Eat for yourselves and pasture your cattle: verily in this are signs for men endued with understanding. 20:54

Listen to it? I have heard it all my life. It is still bullshit.

Does it? Then you are a moron.

What a load of circular bullshit. Do you believe in "jinns"? Probably. You believe that your god gave you a thinking brain. Nevertheless you reject that gift in favour of some dry old books of magic. Grow up.

I have heard about the fountain of youth.

I was not looking for it but I wondered if this could be it:

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? So can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. James 3:12

For the lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Revelation 7:17

Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! Jeremiah 9:1

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I add unto thy days fifteen years. Isaiah 38:5

You’d better hope not, because that’s some second rate shit.

15 years, is that what god magic can add?

We’ve added more than twice that since magic book was written.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I would like an intelligent conversation about the word of God. Perhaps I will not find it here.

I think its not a human language. That it is a language of its own and it speaks about a law.

Wine can come from a mountain that is made of gold if they are all the same thing.

So I think this does make sense:

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. Amos 9:13

I think the hills can melt because the hills are made of silver.

Spear - Cattle - Valley - Brass - Corn

Sword - Goat - Hill - Silver - Oil

Bow - Sheep - Mountain - Gold - Wine

There is no violence in the words of war:

Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war. Psalm 68:30

Or......”Amos” was the first literary prophet. Discontent with their previous job of counseling Kings and royal families, he directly addressed the people with an explicitly political reality during a time of relative peace.

He listed off the vices that he felt had made his nation weak, complacent- in his conception, separated from god....and reminded the masses of neighboring powers.

All to naught. The forced diaspora would swiftly follow.

That, or non human language. 50/50

I dont think so.
There are many that speak of God in their own words. I think there are a select few that speak strange words that are all saying the same thing.

So it is either divine inspiration or they just understand what the others are saying. 50/50

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: Amos 8:11

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. Amos 8:12

But we see it quite near.
The day that the sky will be like molten brass.
And the mountains will be like wool.
