Yep Im sure most are. Point?

I hate breaking down jokes because it takes the funny out.
So I was comparing the spectators and showing similarities.
But I styled the sentence to sound like yours, as if to say, 'maybe your one of them'.
And that was just a little shit stir at you, because the way you wrote that last post, it sounded like you wanted people to know you can fight, but didn't want to come straight out with it like a big boaster, real subtle like.
I could be wrong, that's why I wrote it as a joke, it's not a claim.

The folks doing mma aren’t going to be super jazzed about actual combat either. Their sport is a game, not combat.

There are no refs in combat, no backing off after low blows, no rules against caving the back of someone’s head in, and pretty much everybody has a godamned knife.

That, and it just doesn’t pay as well as getting greased up and playing manhands for the fans.

Greased up muscular dudes. Wrestling. Manhands. This is nothing new. The ancient Greeks invented this shit. The only difference is they didn't try to pretend it was "not gay."

Talk about reading way too much into something.

Most people who watch basketball are too afraid to play basketball, let alone fight. I wasn't comparing spectators to players... You know what... Why bother. I think you missed my point completely, somehow.

Wrong. The UFC, and other combat sport organizations, are literally sanctioned forms of combat. End of discussion.

Looks like weve got an mma Superfan, lol.

Calm down, I think it’s a cute game too.

RE: Marginalized sports
Huh? It's, by definition, sanctioned combat. Not sure how that's hard to comprehend for you. Wouldn't, by any definition, call myself a superfan, though. I rarely watch fights anymore. Boxing and other combat sports/martial arts are basically dead, though you can find some decent events here and there to watch. The UFC is... a joke anymore. It seems to be more about the drama building up to the fight instead of the actual fight. Going the WWE route in some ways, unfortunately.

So, superfan? No. Moderate fan of combat sport events? Sure.

edit: Also, the words 'cute game'.... ugh that's just cringey. Spoken like an internet nerd who's never been in a fistfight. Hopefully you're a little more sensible than that.

RE: Marginalized sports
Yeah sure, actual combat vet, never been in a fight.

Lol.

MMA is a cute game, I like it to, but it’s not combat. That’s just marketing. It two greased up people playing a game with no combat value whatsoever....that somehow, in your mind, is what tough people do, not like those pansies watching other games.
