This whole issue seems pretty clear. The US has by far the highest number of privately owned firearms, almost double the next highest country. The US has the highest number of mass shooting in the world.
While the extent of gun ownership isn't the only factor in mass shootings, it is obviously a contributing factor. Where there are fewer guns, fewer people get shot. Boru

The NRA has gotten the gun culture to believe that the slippery slope is at least 90°.
In addition to universal background checks and red flag laws, a training requirement or qualification test is a perfectly reasonable expectation, we don't let people drive cars without that. I believe the majority of American are fine with all of that, but our legislatures don't represent the majority on a lot of issues.

Gun control seems to work fine in the UK, count the number of mass shootings here compared with the USA (even allowing for the population difference)

And ash trees are PROOF that there are vampires. Cuz an ash stake driven through a vampire's heart kills vampires. Why else would you have ash trees?
