It feels good... but it's one of those things that people often take for granted until it isn't there. I have a lot of support and love from friends, family and loved ones, which is nice.
However, it doesn't make life perfect, nor does it really solve anything except for making you feel good, which shouldn't be dismissed as anything trivial. Feeling good makes for a better life; it's pretty tough to get through life if you're miserable, angry and/or sad every single day. Then again, being loved may not even help these things.
I try to remind myself of five things I'm grateful for every single day - family and/or loved ones often make this list, even though I'm not super close with my family.
For example, my list for what I'm grateful for today was:
My laptop
I have a bed to sleep on
I have a place to take a hot shower
I am healthy
I am free
It doesn't have to be some profound list, even little silly things to remind you why life is good. My family and the love and support they give me often makes the list. It's an important thing for me to remind myself of! I suggest this to everyone.

Even if it doesn't seem like it, there are probably people in your life who care about you. Sometimes we convince ourselves that no one cares or that we're alone, but usually we aren't. Are you sure you're maybe not overlooking someone?
