Counting on the good judgement of someone who is pounding on your head - to quit before they inflict serious injury on your person - is just a bit too pacifistic for me. 

I don't have much experience fistfighting - nor do I have any desire to learn.

I am however quite expert.in firearms and I do.carry a handgun on my person.daily. Legally.

Starting a physical altercation with a person who is stalking you or otherwise harassing you isn't always against the law. If someone is in my house, but isn't hitting me, I can still hit them. If someone is following me around, I damn well might turn around and tase them before they jump me.

Zimmerman is more than an asshole. He killed a 17-year-old boy because he couldn't fathom why a black person would be out at night other than to rob people.

He got away with it because Florida.
