By chance?

RE: By chance?
That wouldn't be any excuse. My homeschooled 1st grader is currently replicating mendels experiments. My 5th and 6th grade homeschooled kids have already made presentations on selective breeding for 4H...not exactly an association of megamind biologists.

The basic facts of evolutionary biology are simple, inarguable, and accessible to any human being that can breathe.

(fuck, all of them together made a robot bee system in EV3 for STEAM to demonstrate the functional relationship between plants and animals)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

There are other skills they gather in public schools. I gathered some, so is my daughter. I stood in the dark watching Sofia playing. This older kid (1 level higher), started to lift her skirt, she pulled down, he tried again then BAM two swift open handed slaps on him. I told the teacher, his dad needed to talk to me. He told me "oh well, he will learn how to treat women eventually."

The teacher has a motivational "I am a kindergarden teacher, what's your superpower?" I suppose it is.

Quote:So someone here has admitted that beneficial mutations are selected for. But guess what? Those mutations are 100% random and are the ENGINE of evolution. No two ways about it. With the randomness (luck) of a series of just the right mutations, you’re winning an impossible numbers game. I wonder how Many lucky mutations it took to get the owls eyes on the butterfly? Lol
It doesn't matter how much you repeat your
Incredulity
Lack of imagination
Arguments from ignorance
Argument from big numbers
False dilemma's
And mindlessly chanting Random and Lucky etc

You won't bring the cornerstone of modern biology down .You dumbies have been trying for over a 100 years and your no closer then you were then .Because you objections are a pile of fallacies .

Absolutely, people learn social skills in public schools that they wont learn in a homeschool unless the homeschoolers make an effort. The point is....that nothing excuses ignorance like OPs.

Nothing.

Not homeschool, not even belief in a god.

This sort of pig headed idiocy is a personal hobby, not a requirement or a product of any other thing. He, personally and individually, with no requirement from any corner...wants to say dumb shit like this. he wants to be a complete chucklehead. He doesn't have to be, and no one and no thing made him be this way. It's just him.

But some simply don't want it to be true or are too arrogant to acknowledge beliefs are wrong

Some use homeschooling so they can keep their kids from truths they don't want them to learn. I accept there will be exceptions. I suppose it depends on why they are home schooled.

Sure, works out great for the rest of us. The nutbars remove all accountability from the process as political suicide....and we enjoy the comfort and freedom and confidence that no one will ever interefere with us on account of how they don't know that we're not those nutbars who could end their political careers with one dipshit outburst.

The overall point stands. Nothing....nothing.... invariably produces a person like Yukon. He's his own baby/

Well...

To be honest, they have created their own journals, with ID peers, so they can claim to have had peer reviewed articles.

One is called "BIO-Complexity" and was started by...wait for it...that bastian of intellectual honesty, The Discovery Institute. And of course, long refuted Behe and Dembsky are on the editorial staff.

But you know what they say, a peer review journal is only as good as the peers doing the reviews.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
