Hello. I see that you have stated that your not religious but claim to be a member of a church. Hmm.......

To be fair, I’m still a member of the Catholic Church (you have to be excommunicated to lose your membership) and I don’t think my atheism is in serious doubt. Smile

As long as I don't get excommunicated, I still have chance at being elected Pope.

Never say never.

If you read what I wrote, I said that I do not take religious people"like you" seriously. Snarky people and disrespectful comments that have not been thought out do not deserve to go without a comment. I hope I have made myself clear and do not have to explain myself any further

What was wrong with my comment?

You're not immediately falling on your face shouting "Praise Jebus!" after reading it.

That's the problem with these "former atheists" they believe the schtick imparted to them by con men that they don't realise it's only for intra community consumption.

Excommunication actually doesn't kick you out of the church, it just removes all access to sacrements and communion with clergy until you repent your "sin". You're still catlick, just not one in good standing.

If that happens will you give me the rights to market and sell "Boru on a Rope"?

Excommunicated?

If the one ever happens, you can be assured of the other.  Cross my sacred heart.
