Vaccine's a year away, at least.
Surely you aren't thinking that people are supposed to stay out of work for that long do you?

The audacity of this grandstanding, power-drunk cretin to think she's best suited to determine exactly what people may or may not need while they're already in a Walmart or Target. Yeah because people so need to crowd Costco endangering people to get a freaking carpet.Maybe they could use it to wrap the body of the senior citizen their reckless consumerism killed .

There is no back to normal. (ever)
Even if Au or NZ has zero new cases (soon), our airlines are still stuffed. The rest of the world won't be ready. We're not about to start international travel and risk reinfection again.
It'll be years actually. And all this without further waves. (which are more than likely).
Batten down for the long haul.

They're not crowding Costco or Walmart because already sets limits of how many people can enter the store at a time.
How much damage do you think would ultimately be done in "flattening the curve" if someone also decides to get a bag of fertilizer or vegetable seeds while picking up their Totino's pizza rolls? Speaking of which--do Totino's pizza rolls really count as food?
What about Sody-pop?
Perhaps Dear Leader should determine precisely what food items are "essential" as well...
Whitrmer is a fucking joke. Citizens would be wise to slap her ridiculous overreach down now, lest she really gets ahead of herself and turns Michigan into a goddamned police state.

2.More then if they just got the food (and yes it's food by definition )
3.Slippery slope fallacy
4.Yes yes you don't like her.That isn't an argument.
So overall no real objections here just pouting

One of my sons works at a Lowes. They are doing a booming business in the paint department. But that's California, not Michigan.
