If it makes you feel any better, young kids are not getting it as much as people over 13 and when they do they’re not getting the serious side effects much if at all.

It's only just starting in India.
'BBC Coronavirus: India's pandemic lockdown turns into a human tragedy'.

Quote:... All over India, millions of migrant workers are fleeing its shuttered cities and trekking home to their villages...

...Escaping poverty in their villages, most of the estimated 100 million of them live in squalid housing in congested urban ghettos and aspire for upward mobility.

With so many on the move the lockdown in India is rendered all but useless. Things are going to get very very bad in India.

Yes it is getting worse in some parts of North India because these daily wages poor workers comes from villages to cities for work , and since the PM declared a sudden 21 day lock down on transportation and all , they are stuck in the cities without food , work or transportation back to their villages .

The government should have foreseen this situation when they suddenly declared a 21 day lock down , without even giving them a day to go back to their villages .

So they are all stuck in the cities without work , food or transportation .

Cannot blame these workers .

True, but I find that having a parent in these times is more stressful.

My sister came in contact as a nurse with someone with it. She was placed on quarantine at home. She has a husband and two children the youngest is six. She is in a room by herself. Everyone else has to stay away from her dishes and food or past and handled with gloves for 14 daysWhether she tests positive or not. we are still awaiting results.

That is a difficult situation to deal with .

What to do , this is a really crappy time for the whole world especially people in the medical field

I have a friend who is a nurse too , she is working in UK now

I hope your sister will be fine .

First test was negative. It's more of an inconvenience for her but hurt the kids more to be away. Getting a second one probably in 4-6 days.
