 And maybe sins are something like bugs or viruses in our souls that can be deleted. I don't want those bits to invade me because they may corrupt my files. Just to be clear, I wasn't so much "defending" Epi as trying to understand the objection. I get it now, but I tend to not think of it as a big deal.

No problem. I was hoping you would not get mad at me for doing such a thing. I couldnt think of any other way to make you understand how calling people "it" made me feel.
Well, I can't say it hurt my feelings. However, I can see why people do not want to be equated with other animals. It is human nature to think more of oneself than other creatures. It's understandable. I still understand Epi's use of it.

It depends on your perspective.
