That would be to dismiss though the opinion that everyone in the industry is exploiter/ exploited, which is an opinion I happen to hold. And I'm not saying ban it.

And that opinion is based on what? And how exactly have they been exploited? Because while I've heard a few porn horror stories, relative to the number of girls who have been making porn for years it's a minuscule amount.

Not really a fair comparison seeing as the act of sex is a lot less unnatural and as final as the act of one human being consuming another.

Fair enough. People having sex is natural and good. People paying for sex is the problem. I have no problem buying clothes. I have a problem buying clothes if I know children were exploited in the production. In both cases, in my opinion, right minded people have a problem. You can't get sex so then either take it or pay for it from a partner who doesn't offer it freely: ie non consensually.

It is my understanding that only married women are prostitutes, in as much as they sell themselves to their husbands for financial security and gain; this is what the marriage contract is all about.
