Honestly, it's not that hard to work out for yourself. What community do you think sees more illicit drugs passing hands for cash? A poor black neighborhood, or a white gated community? How about guns? Where would you expect to find the majority of hot guns? You're probably aware that white teen males get into fights with some regularity, but what do you think the likely outcome of that fight is, and do you imagine that this outcome is equal across racial demographics?

Dave Chappelle has a wonderful routine surrounding the disparity in policing and how it makes itself obvious with his white friend chip™. It works as comedy because there's a difference not only in how police interact with white people as opposed to black people, but also in how white people interact with police. That disparity necessarily gives rise to over-representation in statistics, which reinforces the stereotype of black criminality.

To even begin to maintain otherwise, we would have to contend that something in the "black genes" increases criminality. It's no coincidence and it's not because he was a nut that dylan roof shouted "they're killing us" as he shot up a black church. He'd consumed white supremacist propaganda that stated as much - always part of their argument for an ethnostate. Correction, white nationalist propaganda. The Council of Conservative Citizens. As ever, a distinction that makes no difference.

I'll share a personal anecdote, just for added flavor. I used to deal with my cousins. We got caught and ended up in the back of a cruiser. I got a ride home, in the back of a cruiser (not the first or the last time), they went to detention. They've since returned many times and fwiw, one of them is a straight up violent criminal now. Unrecognizable as a person to me, even though we grew up in the same house. They got popped for shoplifting shortly thereafter. Speeding as criminal endangerment after that. Years in the system, multiple convictions. I have a clean record. Can you guess the difference between myself and my cousins? Criminality, genetics, socio-economic status... perhaps? No...no, and no.

Nothing conclusive there at all, just lots of "some have argued that" and even the grimmest tale from the statistics cited estimates a 10% error in whites thinking blacks are "worse" than whites across the board. That is in fact faaaar smaller than the truly salient statistic, from that article, which is: 

Blacks today continue to be incarcerated at a rate over 2.1 times Hispanics and 5.6 times whites.

Police officers don't just arrest "on a (racist) whim" - they need probable cause. So, er, your claim TGN? My stance has not been altered. 

The BBC made a similar claim to that which you're making: that the criminal justice system here is "racist and unfair" because blacks are disproportionately represented. Not a WORD of consideration that there might be cultural reasons, culture which is "black," that is, which explain why blacks might, in fact, commit more crime than whites. THAT WOULD BE TOO CONTROVERSIAL! Listen to much hip hop/grime/drill music TGN? Lyrics? That's another example. Those (overwhelmingly black) rappers positively REVEL in their claimed criminality! It's virtually all they talk about. Glorification much - and if not that then at the very least "reporting" on an extant cultural artefact of 2020 "black culture" - pride in crime. Perverse, yes, but true.

Yes there're some stenchy backward veins and pockets of racism around today, and crappy policing and police brutality is an ongoing problem, but, here at least in the UK, and I live in a very diverse area I can tell you, we REALLY aren't racist - we fucking despise racism in fact. That's the reality. I will also add that my friends who've got really into this BLM movement over recent weeks are the ones who do NOT live in diverse areas or have diverse acquaintances. Basically, the lady doth protest too much methinks, quite literally - racism is frequently born of ignorance and not socialising with the "others" IMO, so there's that.
