I don't see how that's relevant to what he said. It's still true that AM isn't appropriate for me merely from what I said I was interested in and from what I said my situation is. Regardless of how we conceive of goodness or whether it's subjective or objective, etc. Quoting a separate topic that a started in a completely separate thread and throwing back at me doesn't make your suggestion any less inappropriate.
Just checking abstract ability. I'll stop now.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Sure, I won't be fit for work. But I'll get by.
I bet your not the first romantic fool to think that he couldn't experience a greater love than the one he just lost. :-)
True, but this is different. I may have thought that about past relationships too but this is REALLY different. We always think the love of our life is #1 .... but she's just orders of magnitude superior to anybody else I could ever expect to have a relationship with. There's objective evidence this time. Rather than mere feeling. And that makes this different.
One way of illustrating how it's different is: I've felt just as intense love for past relationships and felt that they were just as important romantically ... but this person goes beyond that because they are also the best friend I've ever had as well. And so good a friend that no other friend, or family member, comes even close. And she has qualities that I've never noticed any stranger having as well. I can talk to her about literally anything without her ever getting upset. I don't expect to ever have a
friend as amazing as her either. So, even platonic-wise, she's insanely special.
