What do you mean you didn't know that? Dave talks about beating up the trans lady in his special. I thought you watched it? Did you just have it on in the background while you were not really paying attention to it and doing other things?
Of course I wouldn't acknowledge he was transphobic, because he wasn't. He was railing against cancel culture, and authoritarian SJWs who happen to be trans. It's not necessarily about them being trans. It's about them trying to destroy and bury comedy. Dave loves his profession, so he's doing what he feels is necessary at this point in history to save comedy. Comedians not only 'can' do this, they NEED to do this, or comedy dies.

Do you have a link to a legit news story on that?
Dave said the lady tried to sell the story to TMZ, but they turned her down. I can't find news stories about it so I assume there were no police involved when this happened. The way Dave tells the story though, defending himself was justified.
