I think it's time I left AF for good. I just don't feel the same way about this forum as I once did. I can't bring myself to care about the back and forth anymore. It just seems tedious and unfulfilling now. That said I'll miss a great many of you and I don't regret my time here.

1. I didn't leave because I couldn't handle criticism idiot. I had been thinking about leaving for weeks before that thread. Hell, that thread isn't even close to the most heated argument I have had on this forum.

2. I never painted myself as a victim I just didn't want to suddenly disappear. I thought I owed the forum more than that.

3. I didn't post it for sympathy I was really going to leave but I reconsidered after a few days.

As I said I seriously considered leaving and had been considering it for weeks before that thread. I simply wanted to say goodbye properly and then changed my mind after a few days. I like this forum despite the fact that sometimes the conversation gets a little tedious and repetitive. So you are wrong.

Jesse Washington was an African-American seventeen-year-old farmhand who was lynched in the county seat of Waco, Texas, on May 15, 1916, in what became a well-known example of racially motivated lynching. Washington was convicted of raping and murdering Lucy Fryer, the wife of his white employer in rural Robinson, Texas. He was chained by his neck and dragged out of the county court by observers. Over 10,000 spectators, including city officials and police, gathered to watch the attack. There was a celebratory atmosphere among whites at the spectacle of the murder, and many children attended during their lunch hour. Members of the mob cut off his fingers, and hung him over a bonfire after saturating him with coal oil. He was repeatedly lowered and raised over the fire for about two hours.
