EDIT: and God is the origin of ethics. No one is more moral than Him
Until you're willing to question and/or challenge what you've been taught (from a very young age and given no alternative explanations or views) you might be better off emotionally continuing in your sheltered existence. I doubt that you were ever allowed to consider any thoughts/ideas outside of religion as acceptable.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Something more is just being greedy.
I give up. I will never understand atheism. It just seems like a sad life. And I know you guy's don't see it that way, and you probably think I'm stupid or delusional or both, but I can't help it. I just can't let go. Maybe it's the fact that if I created something and taught it for years and years to become something exceptional, and it went out into the world and completely undermined all that I'd taught it, then I went ahead and died to save it...I'd be a little miffed if it didn't show even the smallest bit of gratitude. And not only that but, turn it's back on me and say I didn't exist.
I've learned a few things from you guys so thank you for the conversation (even thought you were secretly making fun of me).
Bye,

He created the snake, yes. I don't know why but I can only guess. I can't pretend to know. But as they say, He has a plan. "They" are making excuses for a story that makes no sense and shows a lack of planning. Why create a world then destroy it with flood? Because His plan was crap or His story has flaws. The more we try to make sense of ancient myths, the deeper into nonsense we go. That's why "they" cling to "I don't know, but He has a plan."

I think it's rather obvious that you don't understand atheism because you don't WANT to understand atheism.

In any case, when she gets around to the evolutionary psychology module, young Shazza might change her tune :prayer:

As a lily among brambles,
so is my love among maidens

@ Shazzalovesnovels When God made everything ... that excludes himself, right?
