I got it. You were clear and I suspect accurate in your prediction.

One faint hope would be a few GOP senators vote against T.rump's choices to demonstrate to the 2024 voters that they weren't his puppets. (This against all logic based on the last four years but when was politics ever logical?)

Revenge politics is just the best.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Abso-fucking lutely.

If you don't repsond to their fuckery with your own fuckery, you just end up being the one getting fucked. It's called Mutually Assured Desturction. If you don't strike back, they'll just keep striking. The ideal is dead. Mitch McConnell fucking murdered it, then pissed on the body and raped it's corpse with assistance from Lindsey Graham and the rest of their shit-party.

But alas, Democrats are too cowardly to retaliate in the way that needs to be done.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

The purpose is never revenge.  Inflicting revenge means caring about the evil doer enough to note whether they suffer.  The purpose is make it clear to others that doing evil carries a price that can not be afforded.

ROFLOL

The faint hope for your retirement is to win a lottery, a lottery that doesn’t actually exist.

What and whose purpose?

Is your position that the opposite side (in this case left/dems) never does "evil" in the minds of others? Eye of the beholder.

Everything is in the eyes of the beholder.   You better not behold what they do less critically than Would be appropriate given the predictable consequences of what they do.   Otherwise it would also be predictable that they will make how you behold the world increasingly, perhaps irreversibly, irrelevant.

You get to decide the level of appropriateness?

I'll determine what I view critically, estimate the consequences and take a position. With apparently less drama queen extremes.

If you think violent reaction to a party that thinks nothing of installing a chief executive hand picked by our geostrategic enemy, preserving him from impeachment for Unprecedented malfeasance In office, and seeking to maintain him in office despite the fact that he all but declare himself not subject to every democratic norm and tradition that the country has held for 250 year Is “extreme” or “drama” Queen, perhaps you should also physically reintegrate with the log on which you have morally beEn nothing more than a inert bump.
