You are looking at this all wrong.   Schadenfreude is the joy in another’s misfortune.   Covid 19 is a not a misfortune but unbelievable blessing for the trump because it give him the chance to pass on and so be saved from the temptation of being twice as bad a president as he had been.  

So our joy at the news of his happy diagnosis is not the joy in his misfortune by the delight that he is so blessed.
