Internal division was caused by different views about leading the empire; which takes us back to the blue and red lines I specified in the earlier comment.

Both Trump and Biden are representing different wings in the U.S, and both wings are causing the internal division.

Frankly, I made that decision on April 8 (a full half-year before you apparently made your decision) when Bernie dropped out and Biden became the only candidate in the Democratic field, and, by extension, the only person who could possibly beat Trump.
