Protest Voting

RE: Protest Voting
As much as I dislike the idea of voting third party the truth is that if you meet the criteria to be able to vote that vote is yours to do with as you see fit.  That includes making the decision not to vote.

Not championing the other guy in no way means you are thrilled with the present guy.  I don't understand why that's a difficult concept on this forum.

I think the issue is that if you vote third party, the EC will take that as a vote for whom they want to elect. Which will mean Trump again.

RE: Protest Voting
It's not for the action of good men that evil fails, but for the inherent stupidity and banality of evil.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. It doesn't seem that you're advocating against evil.

ISTR you arguing that it hasn't failed, in spite of its stupidity and banality, in another thread.

RE: Protest Voting
I generally don't - just noting that evil rarely knows what's good for bad.

You'd have to be more specific, but if it's the ec thread....that would be an interesting take.  Doesn't seem like bad is failing on account of the actions of good men, more like evil is winning on account of the actions of good men. That evil men are hoping to strengthen the ec, which is an effective tool for destroying them, would be an example of the stupidity and banality of evil - to my mind.

I don't.

I find their game shallow and repugnant.

You probably have one of those red hats, huh? Unbiased my hairy ass. I don't believe a word you say anymore. On another thread you were sucking off Pence. And now you are repeating Trumpist talking points which are meant to erode the public's confidence in the system. But whatever, you do you.

A lot of 3rd party voters, or at least the one's I know want to vote 3rd party without the social consequences.

I have no problem with someone exercising their freedom to vote 3rd party. But if someone is going to do something as idiotic they shouldn't act all surprised when everyone else is pissed at them.

You sound as paranoid and conspiracy minded as the whackadoodles I met in the Michigan Militia...

But that's OK. My sense of self worth isn't tied to the opinion of some jerkoff (like yourself) that I run into on the intetnet.
