I called my sister yesterday and asked her if she wanted to meet at the brother's house to help him remove his Trump swag. She declined. Doing so would mean we had to be with our brother, his wife, and possibly the dipshit nephew. Not to mention it would be about a 12 hour drive for me and a 5 hour drive for her. She did suggest we may need to travel a thousand miles in the opposite direction to rescue one of our aunts from the crazed, Uber MAGA, racist, backwoods country fuck she's been married to for the last few years.

Trump being out of office doesn't change anything about who people revealed themselves to be. Changing presidents won't change THEM. No, on second thought it may make some of them worse. It was a shock to the senses to find out the "real" people inside that some relatives and friends turned out to be secretly embracing. No. Sorry, not sorry...won't be reaching out to ny of the toxic people I've let go from my life these past four + years.
