It amazes me some people still trying to defend him. I remember someone commenting " At least he isn't a hypocrite " As if anyone gives a damn about that. He left the state represents during a serious crisis to go on vacation. Hell AOC did more for Texas than its own senator.

You gotta smile at the at-least-he’s-not-a-hypocrite ‘defense’, especially after he claimed the the GOP isn’t the party of country clubs, but of hard-working men and women. More than a tad hypocritical since he said it at a GOP event sucking up to a country-club magnate who wouldn’t recognize ‘hard work’ if it bit him on the arse.
