2.Yes it does there is a place in Texas named Colorado which has a mayor.
3.If I said, Francisco California no one would doubt what city I'm referring to. If I said Moines Iowa no one would doubt what city I'm referring to. You could cut the New in New Hampshire as long as you mention it's a state. You can skip North and South by simply referring to them as Dakota's or Carolina's
4. I'm fast and loose, I'm simply not redundant.
If you were to write a letter to someone in Fargo, would you address it ‘Fargo, Dakota’?
Boru Why not?

Texas what the heck is your water? I think I’ve said before that the big defining aspect of conservatism at the moment is utterly rejecting the premise that the government should help its citizens at all. Frankly, this is exactly what I think the majority of Republicans in power are actually thinking during a crisis. The most surprising thing is that they’re actually saying it this blatantly. And I suspect that There’ll be more soon enough.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Apparently the Zodiac Killer has just stepped out of obscurity and made his identity known so he won't be associated with Ted Cruz.

A cult that believes that they have some right to rule, even though the crushing majority of americans do not want them to be in power. A cult that points to their own incompetence and grift and intentional failure in a captured government as an argument against government.

It's absolutely exhausting to try to explain to conservatives why caring about other people is important.

Shouldn't be. If the guy who flipped burgers strongly believed that burgers shouldn't be flipped he'd have a short tenure as a burger flipper. If they want to keep their jobs and, at some point, their heads, maybe they should get to flipping the burgers or get out of the burger flipping business.
